Come join us at Staples Corner for a rum tasting- made locally right down the street in Columbia! We'll be pouring samples of our Lady Anne White Rum AND you'll be one of the first to taste our just released Terra Mariae Spiced Rum- just in time for the Holidays!

LADY ANNE - WHITE RUM

Was there ever another lady as refined as Lady Anne Arundel? Wife of the second Baron Baltimore Cecil Calvert, her wealthy family funded Maryland’s colony charter in 1632. And yet even her impressive social standing was no match for her incredible beauty--suitors found her simply irresistible. So we set out to make a spirit that honored hers: light, with notes of sweet molasses and caramel, and hints of berry and tropical flavors. The result is a rum that’s truly a thing of beauty.

TERRA MARIAE - SPICED RUM

Latin for “Mary’s Land,” Terra Mariae left no doubts as to whom the new colony of Maryland was dedicated when King Charles I signed the charter in 1632. Maryland was named for his wife, Queen Henrietta Maria. While considered an outsider in her adopted home of England, Henrietta’s personal complexity made her a more intriguing ruler. Similarly, our spiced rum layers notes of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel for a sophisticated, intricate taste worthy of Her Majesty.
